How would you estimate a risk regarding green facade wit mid-size plants ? How would you solve liability issues?

Jacek, I don’t have any personal experience of this type of finish to the vertical elements of a building however as with green roofs I suspect the following points should be considered
1. Approach to making the backing membrane weathertight and non combustable
2. How are the plants secured to avoid falling out in high winds etc
3. Plant selection for climate and maintenance
4. Maintenance access
5. Warranty if plants die in first year
6. Irrigation system
7. Consider whether artificial alternatives could be used such as silk imitations
8. Replacement programme and expected lifespan.
9. Discuss with a suitable insurance broker - we have some on Construo - @Oliver Thompson or @Dave Cahill
