Kier, Laing O’Rourke, ISG and Wates have been picked to deliver four prisons in four years worth around £1bn under a new alliancing arrangement, Construction News can exclusively reveal. As an alliance, the four will work together over the next year to develop detailed designs, plan construction and set up supply chains. The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) will then allocate one of the prisons to each contractor to deliver.
