Has anyone had any experience trying to recover ppe for reuse?

Our industry uses lots of PPE, and lots is disposed of quickly, especially with the recent pandemic. This is obviously wasteful and costly as well as environmentally bad.

I have come across a few companies recently trying to recover PPE for cleaning and reuse as a circular economy service. I would be interested to know if anyone have any experience of using these services. Are they successful? Do they save money, and has anyone assessed the reduction in environmental impacts?
