Tomorrow's Build - South Korea is Building The World's First Floating City, 07062022

Tech company OCEANIX introduced the self-sustaining floating city, a futuristic development that claims to be natural disaster proof. The concept was first highlighted in 2019 as a unhabitat-backed project in collaboration with Architecture firms Bjarke Ingels Group and SAMOO, but it quickly became more than just an idea: In 2021 Busan in South Korea signed on as the host city for the very first prototype. Construction is to commence in 2023
