A presentation talk by David Cheshire of AECOM about offices and workplace designs that need to shift from the traditional ‘linear economy’ model - where materials and settings are generated, used and thrown away - to the ‘circular economy’ model. This model promotes a more sustainable, ‘regenerative’ approach, prioritising the retention and refurbishment of buildings over demolition, and designing for the separation and reuse of materials at the end of a building’s life.
