The RICS sought the views of over 4,000 professionals on a range of emerging sustainability-related issues. The findings highlight: - the industry is making progress on reducing carbon emissions but not at the rate required to fully meet its climate obligations - respondents report 'modest' (rather than 'significant') demand growth for green real estate assets, leases and construction materials - Nearly half of respondents see evidence of an emerging rent and price premium for green buildings
