IAAC - IAAC builds TOVA: Spain’s first 3D printed prototype using earth 18102022

Located in the IAAC Valldaura Labs in Barcelona, TOVA is the first architectural construction in Spain which has been 3D printed with earth and built by using the Crane WASP. The construction can be completed within weeks using 100% local materials and local labour, zero waste and a close to virtually zero carbon emission footprint. This manufacturing system can be used anywhere in the world and can help to housing emergencies.
