Great question Nick and very topical in terms of safety in building design etc. I'm not sure i can provide much in the way of up to date insight into this but historically i think it was something which tended to fall between the gap (no pun intended!) of design work scope responsibility because it often came under the category of 'builderswork'. I wonder if this is a question which @Richard Saxon could provide an expert view on? Equally perhaps from a different angle new Construo user @Katie Wills or one of her colleagues at Risersafe may be able to answer?
