Do you have a regular Occupational Health partnership — or do you only call on OH when something's already gone wrong?

2026-05-05 08:38:39We've been providing Occupational Health services to employers across the North West since 1963 — and after six decades, one pattern still comes up more than any other.
Most organisations we speak to don't have a regular OH arrangement in place. Day-to-day pressures mean employee health rarely makes it to the top of the agenda until something needs attention. We completely understand that — but we're curious to hear how it actually works in your organisation.
Do you have a standing OH arrangement, or do you tend to reach out to a provider when a specific situation arises?
If you do have a regular partnership — what made you set it up? Was there a specific moment, or was it a planned decision from the outset?
If you don't — what's the main reason? Cost, not knowing where to start, or it just hasn't felt like the right time yet?
What would make you feel confident that investing in OH was the right move for your organisation?
We work with businesses of all sizes across the North West and tailor everything to what each employer actually needs — from health surveillance clinics covering hearing, lung function, and vision, through to absence management support and medical assessments for new starters and safety-critical roles.
